A cute knitted headband and a pair of shoes pattern for dolls 12” to 22”
Fits Dolls 12 – 14, (15 – 18), and (19 - 22) Inches Tall
Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows = 10 cms [4 ins] over st st using larger needles.
Materials needed: Pair needles each size 3 ¼ mm (UK 1O — USA 3) and 4 mm (UK 8 — USA 6) Yarn is sports weight.
Alt = alternate; beg = beginning; cms = centimetres; cont = continue(ing); foll = following; g st = garter st (every row knit); inc = increase; ins = inches; k = knit; p = purl; patt = pattern; psso = pass slipped stitch over; rem = remain(ing); rep = repeat; sl = slip; st(s) = stitch(es); st st = stocking stitch (1 row k, 1 row p); tog = together; yf = yarn forward; 0 = no sts, rows or times in that particular size; M1 = make a st by picking up horizontal loop lying before next st and working into back of it.
It is essential to obtain correct tension in yarn used and a small test piece should be worked. If piece measures more than required width, try again using smaller needles. If piece measures less than required width, try again using larger needles.
Figures in round brackets refer to the larger sizes. Figures or instructions in square brackets, [ ], should be repeated after the brackets.
