Flower Crochet Pattern #4

This flower crochet pattern is very easy to make up. You will find a wide variety of flowers in our Crochet Flowers Gallery


Size: About 4 inches in diameter

Materials: Bulky (chunky) weight yarn, 1/2 oz (20 yds, 15g) variegated, Size G/6/4mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge, 25-inch length of bright blue leather lacing, Tapestry needle

Gauge: 4 sc = 1 inch


Ch 26.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch, Fasten off and weave in all ends, turn. (25 sc)

Row 2 (RS): Ch 1, working in front 1ps only, sl st in first sc; *ch 5, sI st in sl st just made, sI st in next sc; rep from * 22 times more; ch 5, sl st in sl st just made. Fasten off.

Hold piece with RS facing you; join in unused back Ip of first sc on row 1.

Row 3: Ch 9, sI st in 9th ch from hook; working in rem unused back 1ps of row 1, *sl st in next 1p, ch 9, sl st in 9th ch from hook; rep from * around.

Fasten off and weave in all ends


Step 1: Roll piece into flower shape, tacking as necessary to hold shape.

Step 2: Cut four 5-inch lengths of leather lacing. Referring to photo for placement, pull ends of one length through flower and knot in place. Rep with rem lengths.
