Tapestry needle
G hook or hook needed to obtain gauge
Finished Size: 4" long.
Gauge: 4 dc = 1“;2 dc rows = 1"
Basic Stitches: Ch, sl st, sc, dc.
Bootie (make 2)
Row 1: With green, ch 22, dc in fourth ch from hook, dc in each ch across turn (First 3 ch of ch-22 counts as first dc—2O dc made)
Rows 2-11: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each st across, turn. At end of last row, fasten off. Fold in half, matching rows 1 and 11; with tapestry needle and green, sew ends of rows on short edge together for back seam.
Skip 11 sts on each side from back seam for top opening with tapestry needle and gree, sew remaining sts together for instep. Using a running st, gather ends of rows together on remaining edge of toe. Secure end.
Cuff
Row 1: Working in sps between sts on row 11 at top opening,join white with sl st in first sp on one side of instep seam, ch 3, ac in next 10 sps, dc in seam at back, dc in last 11 s p s , t u r n , (23 dc made)
