It is fun finding free crochet clothes patterns for dolls. This one
comes in four sizes and would be great as a brides maid gown or a ball
gown or great party dress.
Doll sizes 8, 10, 12 or 19 inch.
MATERIALS. Strutt's Milford Knitting Cotton No. 8 - 3 (3, 6, 8) ozs.
Main Colour; 1 (1, 1, 2) ozs. contrasting colour.
"Aero" Crochet Hook No. 2 1/2 (cotton size), or any hook that will result in the stitch tension as stated below.
½ (2/3, 2/3, 1) yard paper nylon, 36 ins. wide.
1/4 (1/2, 1/2, 3/4) yard satin, 36 ins. wide.
"Velcro" Fastener, hooks and eyes, snaps or buttons.
TENSION FOR BODICE. 8 sts. = 1 inch.

Starting at top of bodice with M.C. 28 (32, 34, 58) ch., 1 d.c. In 2nd st. from hook and in each rem. st. of ch., 2 ch, turn.

Slash each waistline for 1 (1 1/2, 1 1/2, 2 1/2) ins., cut a length of paper nylon 4 ins. x 3/4 yd. (5 ins. x 1 yd., 6 ins. x 1 yd., 10 ins. X 1 1/2 yds.) long for underskirt.
Gather to fit waistline. Finish all openings with "Velcro" Fastener, hooks and eyes, snaps or buttons.
