Materials: 20 oz Jamie pompadour baby yam by Lion Braced "Yarn. Company
3/8 inch ribbon by Offray:
2 yds. peach
1 ¾ yds. aqua Sewing thread and needle G hook or hook needed to obtain correct gauge
GAUGE:
4 sts = 1"; -4 (sc, dc) rows = I".
BASIC STITCHES: Ch, sc dc
AFGHAN
Row 1: Ch 201, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn (200 sc made)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, dc in next sc, (sc in next sc, dc in next sc) across, turn
Rows 3 – 140: Ch 1, sc in first dc, dc in next sc, (sc in next dc, dc in next sc) across, turn.
Row 141: Ch 1, sc in each dc and in each sc across. Fasten off.
For each Fringe, cut three strands each 12" long. Hold all strands together; fold in half, insert hook in end of row, pull fold through row, pull ends through fold, tighten (see illustration)
Evenly space 102 Fringe on each short edge. Trim ends on Fringe
Cut ten pieces from peach ribbon and eight pieces from aqua ribbon each 7” long. Tie each ribbon piece in a bow.
Sew five peach and four aqua bows to each short edge alternating colors.
