Lets keep Moms work at home business stress free

Does your work at home business eat up every minute? Are you always stressed? Have things snowballed out of control? When you have a home business, whether knitting, crochet, crafts or accounting you need to keep things in perspective. The beauty of working from home can also be its biggest down fall. When Moms work at home, they can work whatever hours they want or need to. But on the other hand you are never really away from your business. I know what it is like to have a pattern or an idea on my mind and I can’t wait to get back to my workroom. I also know what it is like to be working on a project and lose track of the time. I will just sit there working away for hours on end without a break. The next thing I know the family is home looking for dinner and I haven’t even made the beds yet.

We may have a business but we also have a family So we need to find a balance. Yes we do have a work at home business, but we don’t want to burn out from it. Here is what I have learned to do. I know it may sound silly to you but it works great form me and may just help somebody else. House work waits for no man or woman I work one hour or so at my business. Than take a 15-minute break. During these 15 minutes I do house work. You do this every hour or so and you will be amazed at how much housework you can get done. I can clean both bathrooms in 15 minutes, or do the dusting or fold the laundry and so on. This helps you get away from what you are working on for a few minutes and still get some house hold chores done. You do this for a bit and you will be amazed at how much housework you will accomplish. When you Moms work at home remember you are doing this for your family and yourself. Do not neglect either or you will burn out. The family will begin to resent the business and everybody will lose. Enjoy your business and your family. Keep things in perspective. Nothing is more important than being a Mom, no matter how much fun the business is. And believe me, it won’t be long and the little ones will be off on their own. So enjoy them while you can, you will have lots of hours to devote to the business as they grow. Sales ideas
