New Crochet Patterns

"Learn to crochet"

To create new crochet patterns with granny squares is fun and easy. The designs you can come up with are just about endless.

In this lesson I will show you how to make the "Sunburst" granny square. Of course you can use any color yarn you want.

(Figure 1)

Round 1: In Color A, ch 10, sl st in first ch to form a ring, (ch 10, sc into ring) 12 times Fasten off.

(Figure 2)

Round 2: Attach Color B in any ch -10 loop, ch 3, (2 dc, ch2, 3 dc) in same loop, *3 hdc in each of the next 2 loops, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next loop; repeat this from * twice more.  Work 3 hdc in each of the last 2 loops, sl st in third ch of ch-3.  Fasten off
