Just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful emails that I continue to receive from you. So full of great information. I love to crochet and I am trying to teach myself how to knit, but using two needles may not be for me - ha ha!
Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the previous advice that you gave me on crocheting items for sale and starting a business with crochet. I am still struggling with getting started on a work from home crochet endeavor, but I plan to work hard at getting going with this.
I do crochet many gifts for baby showers and wedding gifts. Everyone always seems to be happy to have a new hand made baby afghan and the young married couples always enjoy a new afghan especially for their home in their "new home" colors.
Thanks again for all you do! A wonderful site from a very caring and well informed crochet lady! :)
Thank you. Dot
Hello Dot,
It is always a pleasure to hear from you and thanks for such kind words. It does take time and effort to start a home business and crochet seems to be especially challenging. But with patience you will succeed.
Knitting with two needles is a bit more difficult (for me anyways) and I admit that is one reason I use the Knitting machine. Of course the quickness of producing a product was the main reason. You can make up the hats in 15 minutes on them for instance.
But there are many that say knitting is easier to learn than crocheting. I have a friend that can knit in the darn and can produce an unbelievable amount of beautifully hand knitted items. So everyone has their own niche.
